The local authority Pension Fund forum (LAPFF), whose members suggest the £230 billion of the UK pensions recommended that its members vote against the report and accounts of Ryanair and the re-election of Chairman David Bonderman next week.

In LAPFF intends to visit the controversial next week’s AGM, Ryanair.

In a statement the forum said that its recommendations reflect the “significant concerns about the treatment of Ryanair its employees and handling repetitive strikes of employees.”

“These questions are answered long-running questions about the management of the company,” said LAPFF.

The participants of the forum will spend about $ 230 billion of pension Fund assets, he plans to attend the meeting in Dublin on September 20 and will be asking the Council about these issues.

LAPFF represents more than 75 local authority Pension funds from across the UK with total assets of about $ 230 billion.

Chancellor Ian Greenwood, chair, LAPFF, said: “the company failed to adequately solve the problems, the complex relationship of the company with its employees and the potential impact on the business. The company faces many attacks and accusations of poor working conditions continue to emerge. Questions about the business model of the company and management currently represent a threat to shareholder value.

“Mr. Bonderman Chairman for too long, and there are serious doubts about its independence. He has failed to take a lead role in the relationship between the employee and making sure the customers are happy. The employment of Ryanair to highlight long-term issues relating to the management and, in particular, the role of supervision, Mr. Bonderman, as Chairman of the Board and its ability to influence CEO Michael O’leary”.
