Irish items USA brands Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger last year increased profit and revenue.

New accounts filed Hilfiger stores Ireland Ltd show that business growth was 27pc paintball in profit before tax of €598,000 during the 12 months to end February 4.

Revenues rose 1.4 PC, from €23.56 m €23.88 m.

According to the report of the General Director, the sales increase was driven by “strong collection”.

The Director said that “administrative expenses remained at a constant level by control of the base cost while increasing sales.”

Of Directors said that next year will show a further increase in sales from continuing operations and concession opportunities. “In subsequent years, the following year, the goal will be the transition from top line to bottom line will increase,” they said.

The number of people employed in the company last year increased from 199 to 216, with staff costs last year in the amount of €3.2 m.

Expenses under operating leases of the company exceeded last year’s wage costs with rental costs of €4.6 m, a small decrease of €4.7 million paid in fiscal 2017. On 4 February last year, the shareholders ‘ funds amounted to €2.8 m.

In Calvin Klein stores Ireland Ltd profit before tax increased by 42pc 139,931 euros for 12 months until 4 February.

This happened after entering 13pc to €5.5 m.

The main activity of the company is the operation here Calvin Klein retail, concessions and one full-price store.

Revenues increased as a result of increased markdowns in the stores compared to the previous year.

The number of employed increased from 43 to 49 with personnel expenses of €803,743.
