More than 300 heads of cattle/calves on offer met with solid trade with a strong presence mainly farmer feeders in the market for both bulls and heifers.

Ahead of the rose of Tralee festival where his daughter, Celine is Kerry rose this week event, John O’shea, Kells, the town of caherciveen. already celebrated as he was the Exhibitor of the champion heifer weaning show, which weighed 420 kg and sold for €1,000.

Mike Kissane, three decades at the helm as Manager in March described the trade as a whole as very positive with a good choice quality calves and a clearance of more than 90pc.
