Roomex has raised a series of 8 million euros in funding as it looks to develop its booking platform and to expand internationally.

Series a round of financing was conducted by Draper Esprit, with support from the existing shareholders of the Frontline companies and harmony of the capital

In 2016 in Dublin with headquarters in the travel software firm has collected more than €2.5 million round of funding led by Frontline ventures.

One of the founders of which is Jack Donaghy (General Manager) and Karl Glennon (tsto), Roomex allows you to book rooms in hotels worldwide through its platform.

This allows customers to save time and money by centralizing all orders and invoices into one invoice.

Nicola McClafferty, a former businessman and Draper Esprit’s Investment Director, based in Dublin, will join the Board.

“Despite the innovations we saw in consumer travel, managing business travel remains a real sore point for most businesses. Companies to manage the process manually or transfer to the agent’s services journey, which is inefficient and expensive,” she said.

“Roomex transformerait this market by providing small and medium businesses with one-stop platform for travel management, providing ease and efficiency from booking to billing”.

Roomex, which initially focused on the Irish market has more than doubled the Size of its workforce in the past 18 months, as the business scales.

Platform which now serves more than 50,000 business travellers from across the UK and Ireland, has now grown to cover the world tourist markets and customers include Musgraves, Dairygold, Kepak, Mitsubishi and Muller.

Roomex has been named one of the fastest growing technology companies in Ireland last year, ranking 20 in 2017 Technology Deloitte fast 50.

It was the third consecutive year that the global booking Platform of hotels for business trips was listed in fast 50′.
