Separately, Adrian says futurist Lucy Greene about how large technology companies may affect our lives in the coming years.

Green is the author of ‘silicon state: power and Policy of big technology and what it means for our future’.

Green gives the idea of a bleak near-future, while avoiding a large part of the over-egged hysteria that sometimes compromises work in this genre.

Voting using the block chain or the emergency services on demand (with ‘models prices surge’ built-in) may be on the way, she said, as the Silicon valley is ramping up its development on cities and towns.

Green looks at the political maneuvers of large technology companies and their founders, like Uber and Airbnb annoying local communities on the once-likely presidential ambitions of Mark Zuckerberg.
